"I'm a family of Scottish. I was born in Eyar and I grew up in Eyarshire," he says. "When you're a kid, it's kind of old stuff. It's corny or whatever." He gradually noticed there were bits of philosophy in Rabi Burns' work. The writer is now based in Greece but goes back to Scotland occasionally.
