Plant Focused Diets - The Blue Zone Diet

Even if you don't move to a 100% plant-based diet, a plant focused diet or a blue zone diet is one where plants are the star of the plate. Above this layer is legumes and high fat whole foods like nuts, seeds and avocado. At the top of the pyramid I have a spot for cooking oils and processed foods. Most plant based fat sources are far higher in unsaturated fats.
