The Cytotoxic Effect of Xylazine on Wounds
Wounds from xylazine are more common than other skin and soft tissue infections that we've seen with the injection drug use. They're mostly occurring on the extensor services of their extremities. There may be like a, you know, a picking behavior that comes with this. The major part of the care though is removal of exposure that's causing the problem.
