How Much Salt Should I Replace During Exercise?

The goal during exercise is to maintain a stable osmolality and therefore sodium concentration we do that by consuming a certain amount of sodium. The key takeaway from my perspective is that you cannot work out how much sodium you can replace or you should replace during exercise without doing it at the same time as working out your fluid intake strategy. And why has there been so little research into something that is so fundamental and is such a thing that athletes do? Yeah your guess is as good as mine Steph. It's really hard to say for sure I think one of them is probably lack of funding there hasn't been much interest in funding research studies in this area.
