The Importance of Stable Bonds
People who had a stable pattern attachment when they were young tend to form more stable bonds when they're older. People who had bonds with unpredictable people, then or it might just be 25% of us are going to be like this no matter what, tends to be more anxious or avoidant in terms of bonds. And the addiction paradigm also works really well with this need to please. We crave pleasing others sometimes and it can be when you get then the signal from someone that you really like, they're really wild. They're really impressed. It can feel like a temporary high that the person gets like, wow, that was really gratifying. So we sometimes see this very gratifying habit
