The Difference Between Effectiveness and Ethics
In the long run, one way to think about it is that if you have to lie about your product to get people to buy it, then maybe your product's not so great in the first place. You can't fake the actual experience someone will have once they buy the thing. And given all of our conversations about thinking about the long game and building an anti-ferential company, if your product isn't good enough to tell the truth about, then maybe you have the problem.
