How Software Social Helped Me Launch a File Uploader
Heroku has an ephemeral file system, which means that the dinos are always restarting. If you don't store your files in cloud storage on Heroku, they will disappear. And so Heroku seemed like a great place to launch a file uploader for that exact reason. So I think raising the money for Hello Query kind of put a nice cap on the journey. The timing felt really good to stop doing that podcast.
