Amazon and Jeff Bezos are sort of synonymous. He's a cult of personality there. Kind of like Steve Jobs was with Apple. The idea, for example, of Amazon Prime, evidently didn't come from Jeff Bezos. But he's quick to adapt the ideas of VC some merit in it.
Since its founding in 1994, Amazon has expanded into streaming, cloud computing, content creation, and even groceries. But if traditional business strategy tells us that the key to success is focus, why does Amazon work?
