Can You Recall One of Your Thoughts?

We can push those thoughts out of our mind, out f our conscious thinking. And so that was a really effective strategy for you. The reason we know that they're really not gone is because now when you start potentially dating somewone again, all the anxiety is still there,. So the memory is still there, stuck in a really mal adaptive way. We want to create a resource we call a container. It's kind of like what you've done if i've pushed em away, but it's a container that use. But we can contain those thoughts and put them away unless it's going to be helpful for us to bring them back up.
