When you carrying around anger or some sort of negative feeling towards someone else because they wronged you, you're carrying around a burden and that burden is on you from something that they did to you. We think that the emotions that we're feeling are directed toward that person, but they can be directed toward ourselves. When they are, that's when it's harder to be happy. People who hurt others aren't really in the healthiest mental state either. They're paying for their emotional crime. And I don't wish that upon anyone.
