The Importance of Relaxation in Running
I think there is a tendency to feel a little bit crummy during the first 5k as you're warming up more still for your race. I have to like really focus on relaxing and finding my rhythm and letting myself get into it coming from a background obviously as even a 1500 meter runner your 50-meter PR is as good as 336 which is obviously very competitive moving into this taper. Do you ever battle with the thoughts of maybe not feeling as good as you did hope butmaybe you'll be able to turn it around at some point yeah that's a pretty universal feeling.
