The Inverse Association Between Salt Intake and All Cause Mortality
This is the world's most expensive study ever cost 700 million US dollars so they had about 50,000 females and they followed them for about eight years. One group dropped their fat by about 10 percent but it showed that if you were a female with cardiovascular disease your risk of having a heart attack was 26 percent higher. I can't get my head around the cognitive dissonance that somebody must have had to write that it is entirely illogical well this proves that reducing the fat by 10 percent wasn't enough we need to aim for a 20 percent reduction in fat. A recent paper published on sodium found an inverse association with salt intake and all cause mortality which seems sort of bordering on academic misconduct.
