Running in the Opposite Direction at the Track

The track is like a highway. There's a lane for everybody, pending on what you're actively doing. You can run in the opposite direction from the general flow of traffic to keep yourself and other people safe. The faster running almost always happens in lane one because that's precise distance of the 400 meters around the track. When runners have the recovery interval, when they are just running easy in between repetitions, then you can almost run wherever you want,. as long as you're not in the way.
