Irgun and the Stern Gang in 19 Forty Four
In 19 forty four, the irgun and the stern gang find themselves in one of these spirals. The gang sends two young men to cairo, egypt, to follow and learn the routine of lord moyne,. They stood watch outside his residence, and when moyne arrived home, they drew their pistols and shot him dead. There was no plan for getting these two young men out of cairo, so it was essentially a suicide operation. Most of the issue, including bagin, were or at least considered it a huge strategic mistake.
