The Role of Parasympathetic Sleep in Physiological Sleep
The best biomarker for physiological sleep is the heart rate variability that we'll talk about. The fiber malage of literature for decades, 40 years, says they have non restorative sleep. So my thesis is that they have glitchy autonomic software due to parasympathetic sleep dysfunction worsened by persistent sympathetic activation or persistent threat mode. This is a physiological model and it is trying to develop ways that you can learn to negotiate energy and restoration.
