The beauty of mindfulness-based techniques is that you don't put any predefined limits on how much or what you eat, smoke, or drink. You make these changes gradually and spontaneously as you develop greater awareness of your emotions in your needs. We recommend mindful eating as it is effective at reducing sweets consumption and weight. Unlike the standard diet reduction programs which typically have a temporary effect, mindfulness enhanced programs seem to last substantially longer.
