One spring is about corner of the equilibrium point where it's not that hard to push it out. Every everything you do to make the spring lighter from that point makes it harder on the inner thighs. The more you stretch the spring, the heavier yo'll be. And when doing like a heavy lunge, and you step your foot on the floor further backwards, that would mean that when you push your legs straight, the springs would stretch more. So that would also increase the challenge there. That kind of understanding, applied in the moment, just gives you all the things that you need.
