The Core Value of a Songwriter

I think about those early days when you were just kind of treading the boards and having a bit of success. It was a beautiful time for a generation of songwriters, yourself, Taylor, Foy. There was a bunch of people that, and sometimes you find yourself in new cities. But wasn't there a time you guys sat on a jetty and just wrote for the fuck of it? Yeah. You sort of get to a point in your career where you've had success and you're more guarded and you stay. I spend most of my time with my family now, but like I do miss like the sporadic fucked-up jam nights at my house.
