The Importance of Muscle

As we age, the efficiency of how the body maintains it tends to start downward. Muscle is a major source of glucose metabolism and fatty acid metabolism. If you have problems with blood sugar, with blood lipids, chances are your muscles aren't healthy. Unless you're super physically active, that is on a downward trend as we get older.
