There's a threshold level below which you know the fursomide is going to do nothing. Then you reach a kind of steep point in the dose response curve where adding more drug is going to increase your sodium excretion. And then you kind of reach a ceiling where things plateau, and further furosmide is not going to improve your Sodium excretion. Giving really high doses, if you're mosified, won't increase your fractional sodium excretion, but it actually may increase efficacy if the drug just sticks around longer on a time base.
