How Much Reflection Do Sound Waves Reflect?

Sound waves travel more or less easily in water compared to air. Some of them will continue through the wall, some of them will bounce back and continue through the air just depending on which is easier. If you have air and water sound travels much better and water than doesn't brick so less of the less of the energy will reflect back and more of it will continue into the new medium. So that's basically really all that affects the I shouldn't say that that's one of the two important properties that determines how much reflection how much how much of the wave is reflected.
