For the first time, since I married him, I saw myself, I thought, you know, he's out of control. But so am I. The second part was I realized that I was real. God was real. I wasn't just an appendage to another human being. And that was revolutionary to me because first I had been my mom's pet and then I had just turned into an object of reaction to David.
