How to Troubleshoot GI Problems

The last Ironman or last triathlon over to was Kona and I took far too much Coca-Cola on the bike ride which I hadn't planned for. So ask yourself things like do I feel dehydrated, am I still sweating? Is the white residue on my tri suit? Is my heart rate too high? Does my effort feel too hard for the distance that I've still got left to sort of cover? All of these things can sort of give you clues as to what might be going on in real time and how you might mitigate some of that.
