Is There a Recurrence of Cedif?

When a patient is recovering from cedif, what you typically see is a reduction in the volume of the stool and then beginning of a normalization of the stool caliber. A significant number of individuals will experience post-infectious IBS which means that the appearance of their stool will not normalize for a long time. What you're looking for is those very classic signs: watery diarrhea with abdominal pain or cramping.
