Mindfulness Training
Meditation is a type of brain training. It's engaging in any kind of mental practice to cultivate specific mental qualities. With mindfulness meditation, the aim is to engage in this kind of brain training to be more present centre. We're paying attention to our present moment experience, without a story about it. You can do that right now without ever having heard about mindfulness, or ever practising mindfulness. Yes, there are ins that we can do, but it's almost like little moments of mindfulness that we can sprinkle in throughout the day. And we can talk about some of those today.
