The Importance of Value Neutrality in Scholarship

Sociology professor argues that value neutrality is itself a value. He says postmodernists often didn't stick up for positive values, all they were capable of doing was calling out negative values. And so when you actually have values, but those values are driven underground, I argue in part that re-emerges through epistemological claims that are really covert normative values.
