How Can a 3D Printer Print Food?
A rapid prototyper could be used to print food on a 3D printer. It would work just like an inkjet printer you have at home, but with droplets of food instead of ink. All the ingredients are prepared on an industrial scale and preserved at the point of origin. A lot of dried foods can last 25 years on the shelf.
