Being a black designer in London, almost kind of helped propel you forward. You know, our first collection was considered phenomenal and was taken as a revitalization of the whole cochlear business in London. Now what was good for me was that most of Britain, the immigrants there, were Jamaicans and Nigerians and people of that nature.
