Rachel says she was an intense perfectionist as a teen and in college developed an eating disorder. After becoming a mother it brought up so many of my fears and insecurities at that point I finally went to counseling for help. Rachel: It's interesting that it was the same eating disorder even though it manifested in dramatically different ways it was always trying to trying to numb out this pain from my mom's passing or from this infertility but after adopting my son I really went to the other extreme where I started binge eating.
