The Four Years of Romantic Relationships

In the wild, we would pair bond four years, which theoretically is long enough to provide shelter and safety for an infant child. Monogamy is more of a social construct than it is a biology for us. The second greatest on par with each other is the manner in which we will interact when one or both of us are under stress. As soon as we don't have a shared purpose, people leave or they do bad things. That's just true of all human groupings.
