When I wrote my book on Stoicism in CBT, it was aimed for psychotherapists and academics to read. Adam Smith was hugely into Stoicism as well. And a number of other eminent Scottish academics during the Enlightenment period were big fans of Stoicism. For instance, why isn't CBTS popular as Stoicism on social media? That's a really good point. So it surprises me in a way that Stoicism is big.
