Banks, banks should be in the business of extending credit. That something they'reactually pretty good at. So if you move that back office process and that balance sheet on to a bank instead of a retailer, then you have this nicer division of labor. The pharmacy can focus on actually selling medication and food, and the bank can focus on managing credit lines and consolidating these bills. And it's a whole lot easier to do the interest calculation one time instead of 20 times.
