The Roys are so adept at wielding insults. They're hilarious and also biting and quite mean, actually. The cardinal rule of humor at work is you make fun of yourself, not other people. Research by a giraffe slaughtering colleagues would tell us that men are seen as more competent when they self-deprecate. But I guess that means it's that much harder for women to walk that tightrope.
