Over the past few weeks, Bangladesh has witnessed an unprecedented crisis that culminated on Monday when the death toll of those protesting the controversial job quota system exceeded 300. As the protests surged that day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to India due to concerns for her safety.
