How to Make a Diffusion Roll for a Shoot

i have a big role of uh rusque erno it's not rusque it's leaf filters diffusion i don't remember which won exactly but it's um kind of medium something like a quarter. It's just yeah a roll of plastic that cost a hundred bucks and what i've been doing for a while is just hanging the roll off a c-stand. I took it one step further lately and i cut eight foot sections out of it and taped those to a piece of pvc pipe from home depot.
