Creatine for Calisthenex Athletes

Creatine is made in the kidney, liver and pancreas from amino acids. It's useful for strength and power output thanks to its use for ATP production. Do I recommend creatine for Calisthenex athletes? No. The potential benefits outweigh the downsides of increased body weight through water retention. For me there's no need to take creatine because I have plenty of red meat and fish in my nutrition already. If you do decide to take creatine 5 to 10 grams per day is a good approach. Just make sure you take sufficient water and you're not going to get the side effects of nausea and stuff like that.
