The World Health Organization said that diarrhea was responsible for the deaths of 370,000 children worldwide in 2019. That makes it the second most common cause of death in children under five. The danger with acute severe diarrhea comes from what your body is losing. It's usually dehydration that lands a person in the hospital.
We’ve all wrestled with diarrhea at some point.
