Strength Training in the Transition Period
With strength training we focus on kind of a I'll say a three-part series of periodization. The max strength period is the period where people have the most fun because you're lifting heavy high weight low reps and you're using the same motions repeatedly from week to week. Steve: For me the transition phase is a time where folks really need to start to learn the motion right so that they can progress later in life. Jason: Those are kind of the fundamental strength components of the three strengths that we implemented at uphill athlete and those complement each other quite well.
