Proteobacteria - What Are They?

All proteobacteria share a structural component that they're composed of called lipopolysaccharide or endotoxin, all of them. Endotoxin is released on a daily basis by your gut bacteria and can cause inflammatory reactions in the bloodstream. Some people move very much as to how much proteobacteria they have in their gut. You could have one person that has 0.5% proteobacteria, which is probably the lowest I've seen in practice. And I've seen other people that were 25% proteobacterial in their gut - that's huge.
