As information architects, our own job to be done is to create effectual language structures. We iterate on labels to find the ones that resonate the most with folks. And one of the first things I try to show people and demonstrate is that you need a thesaurus. It starts with qualitative research, right? People don't speak in regular normal terms; it's really about language.
