"It took me about 10 years to realize how fundamentally unfair, kind of the marital, the roles, the gender roles and the family structure within Mormonism are just so fundamentally unfair," Zayn says. "You're like wiping snotty noses and cleaning up poop and changing diapers all day long for like 15, you know, 10 years straight." He adds that women don't have informed consent when they take part in a photo shoot because it's what you do.
