The inner city people still live in Boston because they were from communities where you lived in big families. Many have moved, some of them just came to Harvard colleges from all over the country. And we're collecting data now on the kids, even today, like we're studying what the pandemic was like for the second generation. Was loneliness just off the charts during the pandemic? We didn't measure it moment to moment or even week to week. But other studies have found that yes, loneliness increased dramatically.
