Xylazine Carointoxication: A Case Study
Xylazine is essentially acting alpha-2 agonist similarly to clonidine. And it causes a lot of sedation similar to what we would see with benzodiazepines. It's used as an animal anesthetic for like procedural sedation. So that's sort of the same effect that we're gonna get out of this drug in humans.
