What Is Sodium and Why Might It Be Important to Replace It?
electrolytes are substances that dissolve in a liquid like water and when they dissolve they dissociate into the two constituent parts. sodium is a positively charged ion when it's dissolved in water in our body and it is a mineral so we get it when we think about vitamins and minerals it's one of the minerals. Now the location of that sodium when it Dissolves in water obviously it's going to move around within the water of the body, which can divide into sort of three key fluid compartments.
