What you eat 95% of the time is what matters most. You can stretch it a little bit on the 5% and it's okay because it's plant-based. But I'm not a hard liner. I believe that you don't have to sign a purity pact to decide to make healthy food choices. Some people also have ethical sensibilities, for example, around plant-based as opposed to consuming animal products. Others are like, hey, my first priority is feeling good and living longer and I'll eat whatever will serve that. Right? And both camps can come together around a whole foods plant-based diet but there are different motivations for different people.
