guilt is really an admission of having power over changing your behavior and the way you do things because if I cannot do anything about it what would I feel guilt so that's that's one of the benefits of guilt in my opinion. Another benefit of the shame is it shows her respect for the sanctity of marriage It shows her value system or her moral compass she wants to project a good image but also be a role model for her community.
