Love With Desire Is Not a Boundless State
When well developed, loving kindness doesn't make any distinction between beings. As is the feeling of love with attachment or desire. We might feel close to one person or two people but we certainly don't feel close to everybody in the world. It's for this ability to embrace all that it's called one of the illimitable or immeasurable states because it doesn't have a boundary.
