Stoicism was developed in the arena of life, not separate from daily life. The ancient stoics tried these things and refined them until they found a system that actually helps. They had this very inclusive approach to using techniques, which i love. And one of my favorite techniques is to make comparisons to others in a way that helps you feel grateful for the situation that you're in.
