I was micromanaging the shit out of my Marines, and we were failing everywhere. So I had a very tough, very necessary conversation from the CO saying you need to give your Marines the space to learn and make mistakes. And thank God for that lesson. When you use decentralized command, there's risk involved. You're in this position, you're obviously not experienced, and yet you're in charge.
