The Genetics of Chickens

CNN's John Sutter visited a chicken factory farm in Austin, Texas. He says the chickens are raised to grow about eight times faster than they did just 60 or 70 years ago. The animals can't even walk by the time they reach slaughter and live on feces of other flock members. "It's really hard to see how they have kind of a life that we could feel good about"
